Basic Button

Button Description

Main Menu

Button Button Text Description
Play Tap to play the selected video file.
Delete Tap to delete the selected file.
After tap the button, a message box will be pop up: Do you want to delete the video file?
Tap "accept" button to delete the selected file and the
focus will move to the next file. If the file is the last one, the focus will move to the previous file. Tap "cancel" button to cancel the deleting action and it will return to main interface.
Back Exit Video Player and back to Main Shell interface.

Screen

Button Button Text Description
Play/Pause In play status, tap to pause. In pause status, tap to play.
Stop Tap to stop and return to the entrance of playing file.
Remark: When tap this button, the picture will return at the first frame.
Fast Forward The speed levels of the fast-forward involved with 4x and 8x
speed. Tapping the button can toggle the playing speed among 1x, 4x and 8x.
Repeat/
Play Once
Tap to toggle between Repeat and Play One Mode
Repeat Mode: Repeat playing the video
Normal Mode: Play the video once and return the main
interface. It is the default play mode.
Remark:
(1) The icon on the button indicates the current play mode. That means the icon is the same as the current play mode.
(2) These 2 modes are set for one video, not all the video in the file list.
Volume+ Tap to increase the system volume value for 1 level.
Volume- Tap to reduce the system volume value for 1 level.
Backlight+ Tap to increase the system backlight value for 1 level.
Backlight- Tap to reduce the system backlight value for 1 level.

Messages


If there are no files in the file being searched, the interface below will be shown. Only exit button is enabled at this time.
Whenever user inserts or ejects the SD/MMC card, it will show the following messages: Tap “ß” button to go back to the main interface and refresh thumbnails. This rule is applicable for main interface itself, play and delete (All Video Player interfaces).
If you are asked to select OK or Cancel before inserting/ejecting the SD/MMC card, the action will cancel before displaying the following message.

FAQ

Q. Where should I put my video files on the SD card?
A. Any folder will work. The video app will search for the movie files itself and then list them.

Q. What should I do when my video looks choppy?
A. Check the video file limitation (bitrate, resolution, …). If the bitrate or resolution is too high, playback may become choppy.

Q. Why is stereo not working?
A. Only mono sound is supported. Stereo files are converted automaticall to mono.

Q. How do I change the volume of the file being played back?
A. You can change the volume by using the on screen buttons. The rotary volume knob does not work for changing the video volume.

Q. Can I play video while driving?
A. No.

Q. Video playback stopped on its own.
A. Video playback will stop in the following conditions. To resume playback, press the Play button:
* If you press [MODE] and switch display to audio mode
* If Bluetooth is pairing or unpairing
* When receiving a call, or during a call
* If the "Low Battery" mesasge is displayed

Q. Video player is inoperable during a call.
A. Video player is inoperable during a call, or if the "Low Battery" message is being displayed. Ending your call, or closing the "Low Battery" message will resume video controls.

Q. Audio from CD or TUNER is playing together with audio from the video file.
A. Please turn AV Source OFF when playing back video.

Q. I did not press the exit button for Video Player, but Video Player shut down.
A. The following will cause Video Player to shut down:
* Ejecting SD Card
* Turning ACC OFF while SW of device is also turned OFF
* Detaching the unit while SW of device is turned to OFF
