You can use the phonebook to place calls and set routes from your current location.
You can also send information on your current location as an e-mail message.
Connect the smartphone and the compatible Pioneer product via Bluetooth wireless technology to place a call. If a Bluetooth connection has not been made, use the smartphone to place the call.
For details of Bluetooth connections, refer to the compatible Pioneer product Operation Manual.
Tap to input text by voice recognition.
1 Scroll up or down through the contacts to find the contact you wish to call.
Entering a name in the text input area above the list by using the keyboard or the voice recognition allows you to search for the corresponding contact.
2 Tap the contact to make the call.
A contact’s info screen appears.
3 Tap a phone number or .
Dialing starts.
4 Tap to end the call.
Some smartphones may go into the sleep mode after hanging up the phone. Release the sleep mode of the smartphone.
You can set a route to a selected contact from your current location.
1 Scroll up or down through the contacts to find the contact you want to set a route to.
2 Tap the contact to set the route.
A contact’s info screen appears.
3 Tap an address.
The Maps application starts up and shows the route from the current location to the selected contact.
To send e-mail to a selected contact, you need to set up your Gmail Account.
1 Press the Menu button while the contact is selected.
2 Tap [Add email account].
3 Tap the text input area and input an account and password.
4 Tap [OK].
You can send an e-mail message to a selected contact informing your current location.
1 Scroll up or down through the contacts to display the contact to send e-mail with your current location.
2 Tap the contact to send e-mail.
A contact’s info screen appears.
3 Tap [Share Location].
A screen confirming if you want to send the e-mail is displayed.
If there are multiple e-mail addresses, a list of addresses is displayed. Tap an address to send e-mail.
4 Tap [OK].
The e-mail will be sent.
