Using the keyboard

CAUTION

    • For your safety, the keyboard functionality is only available when it is safe and lawful for you to do so.

When you tap a text input area of an Android application, a keyboard will be displayed on-screen. You can input the desired text directly from the compatible Pioneer product.

  • To edit text information on the compatible Pioneer product, you need the CarKeyboard application to display the keyboard.

    CarKeyboard can be downloaded from Google Play. For details of CarKeyboard, refer to the manual of the app.

1 Select CarKeyboard as a keyboard app of the smartphone.
