Operation Manual

CarKeyboard is an application that displays a keyboard and enables text input on a smartphone and a compatible Pioneer product that supports Advanced App Mode.

For details about the compatible Pioneer product, refer to the Operation Manual bundled with the product. If it is not bundled with the product, check “Compatible Pioneer product Operation Manual (PDF link)”. Select AppRadio app Help to find the PDF link.

  • To use the CarKeyboard with the compatible Pioneer product, AppRadio app should be installed.

    AppRadio app can be downloaded from Google Play.

  • For details of the operation of the smartphone, refer to the instruction manual of the smartphone.

    • Certain uses of a smartphone may not be legal while driving in your jurisdiction, so you must be aware of and obey any such restrictions.
      If in doubt as to a particular function, only perform it while the car is parked.
