Operation Manual

CarMediaPlayer is an application that allows to playback music and video files on a smartphone and a compatible Pioneer product that supports AppRadio Mode.

For details about the compatible Pioneer product, refer to the Operation Manual bundled with the product. If it is not bundled with the product, check “Compatible Pioneer product Operation Manual (PDF link)”. Select AppRadio app Help to find the PDF link.

  • To use the CarMediaPlayer with the compatible Pioneer product, AppRadio app should be installed.

    AppRadio app can be downloaded from Google Play.

  • The following buttons shown on the Application instructions are on the compatible Pioneer product.

    • Home button

    • Menu button

    • Back button

  • File formats that can be played back depends on the smartphone.

WARNING

    • Certain uses of a smartphone may not be legal while driving in your jurisdiction, so you must be aware of and obey any such restrictions.
      If in doubt as to a particular function, only perform it while the car is parked.
      No feature should be used unless it is safe to do so under the driving conditions you are experiencing.
